Christopher Bubb, Chair, PresidentChristopher Bubb, is an Assistant General Counsel at AOL where he manages the Compliance and Investigations Unit which handles all issues relating to compliance with law enforcement requests, out reach, and training. Mr. Bubb provides legal advice and guidance on issues arising from the PATRIOT ACT and other federal and state laws relating to Internet and computer-related crime. He also provides review and analysis of pending state and federal legislation. Prior to joining AOL Mr. Bubb was a Supervising Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Division of Criminal Justice for over 16 years. He founded the Computer Analysis and Technology Unit in the Division of Criminal Justice which investigated and prosecuted Internet and Computer-related crimes. He was also the inaugural Fellow in Computer Crime which was jointly established by the National Association of Attorneys General and the United States Department of Justice, Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section. Before his involvement in the field of computer related crime, Mr. Bubb was assigned to investigate and prosecute organized crime, corruption, and narcotics cases. Mr. Bubb has participated in numerous programs on Internet and Computer-related crime on behalf of federal, state, and local law enforcement, and was a contributor to the Electronic Evidence Compliance – Guide for Internet Service Providers, Berkley Technology Law Journal, and Prosecuting Cases that Involve Computers, a resource CD produced by the National White Collar Crime Center. |
